Suggestion for families

A two-day family ticket costs only €5 more than a daily pass, which means that for an additional 21%, you get an extra day of fun for the kids, as well as another day in the park for yourself if you find it enjoyable. We strongly believe that the playground alone warrants another visit, especially at the small extra cost of €5 for up to five children and two adults. The second visit ticket is valid for 365 days, so if you are from one of the neighboring countries, such as Croatia, Austria, Italy, or even Hungary, you will likely be able to visit again within a year. The same goes for anyone on a longer vacation in Slovenia, especially if you are here with younger kids – they will love it.

Beautiful gardens and great playground facilities for children

Went there (family if 5, ages 6, 10 and 13 ) before Velika Planina. Planned to stay there for an hour, ended up spending 3 hours there and could have stayed more. The children especially loved the playground with omegas, trampolines and other facilities. There is also a nice dinosaurs display.

Beautiful exhibits and location

We visited on a Saturday which meant that we couldn’t get a direct bus, we got one to the village of Radomlje about a kilometre away, but from there it was an easy walk. We both had tourist cards so it was free to get in. Even at 10.00am it was clear that this is immensely popular with the locals and with good reason. The grounds are beautiful and the views are absolutely stunning, particularly when you get to higher ground. There were plenty of cafes and WCs which were well signposted. We spent 3.5 hours here and enjoyed every minute
